“We wanted to make a very comfortable contemporary sofa. Ploum is a vast shape with a soft, welcoming surface on which the entire body can rest. Its seat is relatively low giving it an organic feel. The use of a stretchy fabric is perhaps a symbolic parallel to a contemporary lifestyle, in which flexibility and comfort seem to be essential.
