The chair reinterprets a machining process that consists of grooving the wood in order to obtain flexibility. The process is borrowed from common know-how, as would be an assembly process to make a model. It is used to create the seat and back of the chair in one piece and without molding. It also results in a pattern. This one is used with measure. The goal is to leave the technical demonstration for an application in a manufacturing process and in an aesthetic research.
